I haven’t encountered it. IMO it should be introduced pretty early on.

It would be nice to have an economic section of the tutorial, it would cover shop stands, request baskets, and the scanner in the knowledge tab.
i only found out about it due to people mentioning it on forums,i also use the tracker when i don’t want to search 15 planets for something xD
the tutorial teaches you how to use the journal and then selling/buying items are one of the goals in there.
