Is there a way to do a carriage return on keyboard when doing signs?

I am on PS4. Looking for a way other than clicking onscreen. Using usb keyboard.

I tried ctl-enter

I think I tried everything back when I made my “blueprint” pictures on signs. Ended up having to use the return arrow on Ps4 chat box each line.

How do people on PC do it?

We press enter. We don’t have a PS4 text input box, but an in-game one where enter works.

Carriage returns work on PC with the Enter key, interesting that a USB keyboard wouldn’t on PS.

Yea it’s just the way the chat box pops up, Enter closes that box and returns you to the in game display text box.

Are you able to copy and paste from the display text box on PC? That’s one convenience of the PS box. I’m about to remodel my build where I have art on signs and I was able to copy the text and paste it on another sign elsewhere to save it.

Can paste into it but I haven’t figured out how to copy out.

Interesting, well now you know you can have a PS4 player do it for you if needed!

Not sure if this is thread-worthy but now I’ve got ideas swirling for opening an art gallery and selling pictures on consignment :grinning:

I often wish it worked this way on PC.

The number of times I press enter instead of clicking the button, then have to delete the extra line is …

way too many.
