Known Issues in Live 199

Below is a list of Known Issues in Boundless 199.

Please share this post with any players or posts that ask about these issues.


1. Attributes appear to have changed:

There is a known issue that some Attributes appear to have changed or been nerfed. The issue is that they’re being incorrectly rounded when displayed in the GUI. The values have not changed and the game is using the correct values for all attribute based calculations.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

2. Client crashes or the client appears to hang when nothing particularly special is happening:

There is known issue where the client will crash when nothing special appears to be happening. The issue is actually happening in the networking code. There is no work around.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

3. Purchases via the PlayStation Store aren’t redeemed opening the Exchange:

There is a known issue where purchases via the PlayStation Store are not redeemed when opening the Exchange. The instruction to open the Exchange is incorrect.

Please open the Shop GUI to redeem purchases.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

4. Stamina doesn’t recharge as expected:

There is a known issue that stamina is not recharging if you continue to try using stamina once it is depleted. The work around is to release the action and the some stamina to recover.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

5. Unable to chisel blocks placed after 199 was released.

There is a known issue that any blocks placed after 199 was released can no longer be chiselled. There is no work around.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

6. Direct player-player trades of coin will sometimes transfer a multiple of the coin value:

There is a known issue where coin trades between players will sometimes incorrectly transfer a multiple of the coin amount. Options are to avoid trading player-player. Or only trade with players who you’re confident will correct any incorrect transfers.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.

7. Lighting looks incorrect especially near emissive blocks:

There is a known issue where the lighting from directional sources looks incorrect. There is a bug in the lighting shaders that is incorrectly calculation direction lighting. There is no work around.

This issue is fixed in 199.1.
