That I wish to know as well, I believe it’s because the other colors becoming unlocked requires a manual input to do, therefore since so little manpower is focused on the game(since it’s all behind the scenes learning right now) they just let the autosystem select from the predefined lists until something can be done about it later. Honestly I am not playing for new colors, just to get my farms built and the money rolling in. I can wait a while longer.

There’s an algorithm of sorts, at least as far as they’ve told us. It’s what makes most of them but it’s somewhat limited and based on some starting constraints by planet type. It has limitations because they didn’t want “crazy” worlds or nonsensical palettes. So it picks colors within a certain range of variance from whatever the basis is for the world type.

It can also be done by hand but as far as I know that’s only been done for a couple of exo worlds.

not sure what I was seeing there anymore :stuck_out_tongue: very top reminded my of donkey kong hairs…
