Is there a resource anywhere which shows the amount of light certain blocks give out?

For example refined gleam versus a gleam lantern? I have tried just placing them in the world but its not hugely obvious which one is brighter…

Lantern provide more radius, you can look by placing them in a complete dark area and check the light radius between all the light sources.
