It was Oort that introduced me to discourse. At first, I wasn’t ecstatic about it. It was difficult to get used to and the default settings spam your email. While I was fond of stack overflow as a reference, it took time to convince me it could work as a forum.
But I came to realize that gone are the days of page reloads and taking a thousand clicks to catch up on a forum.
As a result, I even deployed my own discourse forum for my Crowfall guild at http://forum.serrated.us/
