Looking for opinions on green grass and foliage, dirt and wood

Of the perm planets, what is the nicest green grass and nicest green foliage? also what is the nicest brown wood for tree trunks and nicest medium to dark brown dirt.

Definitely the dark mustard trunks.

Grass… I’m fond of the Deep Viridian verdant found on my homeworld of Lutrion.

Foliage… either green or mint coloured exotic foliage. Found on a number of permanent planets.

How about for a nice earthy brown dirt?

Dark mustard again for soil… I might be a little biased though as a lot of these are the colours of Lutrion

Arie has lustrous dark mustard wood and clay soil too

I’ve got to agree though, lutrion has some lovely colours. Spent a while collecting things the first time I went i got very excited lol. I overlook a lot of the perm planets I think!

Edit: the clay soil here is actually strong mustard my mistake

My only complaint about Lutrion is the pink twisted wood trunks… which turns out to be 90% of the tree population on the planet. If I had the patience to do so I would paint each and everyone of them dark mustard.

Arie has possibly the best forests of giant trees of all the permanent planets.

Favourite permanent world tree design though would have to be these ones on Pheminorum

Silk Orange or Silk Mustard wood with Deep Viridian Verdant Grass and Mint, Viridian and/or Vivid Moss foliage creates a nice color scheme can be mixed and matched depending on whether you want to accentuate the blues or yellows in the grass. Teal foliage might be a nice option, too, if you’d like something that brings out even more of the blue.

Any other thoughts on dirt?

Don’t wear any white clothes when you gather it!

Have to agree with wake, Deep Viridian is a nice looking green grass, and he knows his grass :sunglasses:. Still have over 8k seeds in stock too

I feel good about deep viridian. Still undecided about soil.

Dark Mustard soil looks pretty close to a darker earthy soil.

Deep viridian is decent - the grass itself looks good, but it makes the ground a little too blue tinged I think.

What do people think of strong viridian verdant?

Vs deep

Also is one easier to gather than the other @econodog? I’ll probably be looking to hire you to gather 150,000+ of it if you’re down.

Deep green is also nice, probably my favorite of the three, but it only comes in gnarled and barbed without chisel changing, right?

Seeds are fairly low down on my priority list for gathering, but I’m sure I can provide some of the seeds you need.

Alder lustrous trunks and clay are both nice natural colours.

Have you tried out the suggestions @Ovis made? Both mint and moss colours are further around the colour wheel so they will look more green and won’t have the blue tinge that you see.

Foliage Nia zed what is it hot moss “exotic”
I use it a lot. Think Circa has the same color.

But have to say it really depends on your atmosphere.

Previously used it in my farms that color leafs and put (think it was xa frant) gleam in it. Looked pretty cool at night.

For soil I have used dark Rose sand. It has that earthy brown in the right atmosphere
