Hey Oortians!
I’m curious about the magic that will be added in this game. Is it like full on casting spells and mages and all that? Or is it more like magic weapons?
Please share your thoughts/ideas.

Well that’s what we do,and I think it’s a mixture of both magic spells and magic weapons.

I know this much, magic in oort isn’t typical “magic”, but instead will be lost, ancient Oort tech.

Multiple gods, i am the god of everything awesome and you are the god of everything forum related, that works right?
Eeehhh… I can do the polytheism thing, but I feel a bit shafted there. I’ll tie this back into the main topic here and mention how extremely advanced tech can appear like magic to less advanced peoples, and that the oort universe may very well have god-like beings. However, god of awesomeness seems a tad op.
Yeah i would kinda like a deity system, maybe tribes which worship titans? a bit off-topic but still awesome idea i think.

As we advance through the game play loop, perhaps we could begin to personify the deities were introduced to in the beginning of the game? Ex, The God of the Hunt, The Lord of Fire, The Creator, etc. Depends mostly on how magic and lore go in oort. We must know more!
