All jokes aside, Flint is the most garbage material in the game. It’s saving grace is… Torches.
It just piles up and there’s nothing to use it on, you can only have so many 1000s of torchs before it starts to get ridiculous.
Love the game.

hmm you need flint in various recipies, Titanium furnaces for one that comes to mind…
And in the next patch decorative blocks beside wax will need flint

Yeah I actually ran out of flint recently because of titanium furnaces. But just cause I hadn’t gone mining for a bit.
Now I’m struggling to store it all.
I wholeheartedly agree with this idea. Maybe wax to give the blocks their shiny look and flint to etch the patterns into them.
All of these recipes require almost no flint. 1 per furnace. 1 per resin. Flint can be better than this
And some players are threating to quit over wax :-p
