Making a cactuar, what material would be best for the green?
Ideally nothing too crazy fancy, mostly looking for the right color

Foliage? There are some cool looking greens in foliage.
Mint foliage might work
Depending on the planet where you build it but hot moss and mint are good greens. If you don’t want to much cost would go for the basics rock or timber (timber ancient can change all to that type) to avond to much texture but hey thats me .
Oh! Use dark green tangle!
I was thinking something less textured like tangle, or gleam, or sand, or dirt
Lol changed your mind?
Dark Green tangle is definitely the best option for it, since they also have darkened pits for the ‘cactus’ look.
You could even opt to use chiselled Dark Glass to look like spikes, if need be.
The clay from Bob’s Farm makes a nice stripey dark green when compacted
i suggest vivid green looks great on cactuar i build one myself not so long ago
i suggest even to use deco (stripe) rock of vivid green
What about a mint green deco gravel with thorns striping it?
