Hey everyone. My glass shop is almost ready to open but I’m struggling to figure out how I should price the glass I produce. So I’m here to ask you, the community, what you’re willing to pay for various glasses? I know it depends on how it’s aquired so let’s say
Price for perm world color, price for exo world color, and price for gleambow colors?
So, What are the average prices you’d be willing to pay per piece of, say, Stale cerulean or dark orange glass?
Vs for example how much you’d be willing to pay for some night azure, or shadow green being gleambow colors? Any help or opinions would be appreciated.
Right now in my Gyosha Mall shop I am selling all of my gleambo glass I got. If it is a exo type color I am seliong at 222 per block and all other glass blocks that can be made with standard world colors I charge 5 per block.
My exo price may be high but I still priced myself lower than other exo shops.
Depends on where you are getting your ingredients.
When I need plain glass I purchase glass for 3 ea, gleam 4 ea, & provide my own spark (however it looks like it is 9 ea so I included it in my cost) - while doing mass crafts only it costs me 14.47c per plain glass ignoring refinery wear-n-tear. If you can come close to that for plain white glass, I’d be interested
It looks like somewhere between 20 and 35c / block according to BUTT
I thought it was the OP but it was the second post that said they were selling them for that price. Crazy IMO - I want 4-5c for the classic glass.
I’ve never had a problem selling permanent colors for 30c, common colors like white or the tan from galan.
The only pre-made exo colors I’ve sold were colors I was able to farm a ton of, I still have shadow yellow for sale for 60c.
But at the time I started selling those there was literally only one other shop with plain glass blocks under 50c, even in permanent colors. There are quite a few cheaper sellers now. I haven’t restocked any permanent color in a long time and still have shadow yellow in my stand sitting for several months at 60c.
I did a normal glass run the other day and worked out the cost based on the tools I used to gather the sand and soil and the pie and the brews etc.
I didn’t buy the cheapest of shovels but they had mad Dura so only used 2 shovels in 45mins.
Ignoring the olivine and yam drops, it worked out to 1.47c per glass excluding spark.
My spark was free in this case as I used timber from sap gathering.
I guess what it comes down to for any shop in game is whether you are buying your raw mats or grabbing them yourself. Also your spark too.
I think if you’re buying most the mats 15 to 20c is going to be a fair price for plain panes or blocks.
Several places stock large quantities at 3 or 2.99 nowadays, which is pretty cheap from my experience making it from scratch.
Seems very reasonable and if I don’t need several smart stacks that’s not a bad price.
The silty soil is a pain to gather in insanely large quantities. I gathered around 175k sand and all of the Norky gleam I needed then started to get burnt out at around 60k silty. Ended up buying most of it when I would see it for 1c or less.
You do know how i care about recipes and care about logic.

If your price is 220 lets say… and customer needs 2 stacks of it… thats around 200k give or take… thats lots of coins for GLASS.
Just questioning here the prices for these… as been stated someone selling for 220 and some 250c… a PIECE.
220 is crazy. But it does use 2 glass and 2 gleam to make a new glass block iirc. So let’s say 3c each which is a great deal for either (ie im lowballing), 12c total. With mass craft, that’s 9c. Plus spark and a teeny bit of profit 10c.
More realistically 15c.
More than that I would just make it myself. I do make my own but I buy my dark orange gleam because I’m afraid of heights.
It’s roughly 17c at cost that’s why i think 20-25 is a good range for perm. But again these are our own opinions on this. Some people value things lower and higher etc. Some dont care about spark as well so that will affect how someone prices something as well

Glass is 3 ea pretty easily right now and you can get perma gleam for 4-6c. Spark is 9c/1000 → 14.47- 16.55 c/plain glass.
You can get Exo gleam for 50-150 each depending on the spawn size from gleam universe. That’s 62.27-165.87 c/plain glass.
It really depends on what you value your gleam at but I don’t see 220 for some exo colors as unrealistic.

Back tracking from this and assuming the same cost of spark and glass, you would be valuing these gleam at 183c each, whereas most people sell them for 2k ea. I find 2k / gleam to be an absurd price, but it’s the market price
