Mega Calming brew broken (solved)

I’ve been trying for about three days now to see if mega calming brews will work, but they have no effect. I even went into my character profile to see if I got the effect and there was none.

Are you taking the brew when the character is alone, or when other characters are nearby?

I made the mistake of thinking it was the larger version of the innocuous brews. :confused:
I suppose it’s why they’re named differently, but they’re both the same color so I wrongly assumed they were related. My apologies. Glad I didn’t mass craft any.

Is this doing any difference for the buff?
Or is it just that other chars pull the mobs?

If you’re playing alongside others, then taking the brew should lower your threat compared to them.
