the primary advantage of using tools forged with speed and not durability, is that when you’re on an exo without weapons, you hit so fast that you can defend yourself. with 8/8 control you can’t even call it melee anymore. if you pick a world where the armor is low enough that totems aren’t insta-repelled, I’ll go wood totem.
My miner wielding a hammer legit does more damage than my hunter with a bow I’m certain of it
