Milk

So I have a bucket but I’m not sure  how do I milk a wild stock.

Use an extractor + milk gland and bucket

Very carefully. Not quite calm natured.

Wildstock run in a triangular pattern, like the legs on a milking stool. Pull their teats as they run by. Be careful they don’t headbutt you first.

Alternatively, Wildstock of Stout or higher tier randomly drop Milk Glands when you Defeat them, alongside the delicious Meat and unctuous Tallow. Higher-level Wildstock are more likely to drop more Milk Glands.

Ok first make sure you have the stealth epic. Next find a large herd of wildstock. Slowly creep up behind the biggest one. Then try to carefully grab an utter in one hand with an empty bucket in the other. Then gently give it a tug. Continue until the bucket is full.

As already stated another way would be to kill them, pick up a dropped milk gland, take it along with a bucket to an extractor and process there.

Your choice…but I will say one way works better than the other.

Okay, your going to need a wildstock, a knife, a blender and lots of cheesecloth.

make sure you try to milk a female wildstock or you’ll get something else than milk

W-we don’t have cheesecloth…!?

Wait, is this an actual feature and I’ve been spending money on milk glands for nothing???

Just remember not to milk the wildstocks with only one udder!

Yep - go for the udder one.

Thanks everyone for the good laugh. Love them all.

yep. The stout and higher up wildstock (goats) can give milk glands. Make buckets (you don’t lose them) and put the bucket and milk in the extractor. You get a bucket of milk. You would think I would remember the steps as I made purified milk and purified butter two days ago, ^%$*% meds that mess with my memory.
Anyhow, you can make butter from the milk, or purified milk to make purified butter. Also fortified butter. For the purified milk you need charcoal and gravel. I know the purified butter needs power, can’t remember if you need it for the purified milk.

Yeah that’s the standard way knowledge tab teaches you, but I thought there was a feature to actually milk the wildstock like you milk cows in minecraft (right click a wildstock with bucket in hand). Apparently I was fooled

wasn’t sure so thought I would give the actual process. I wish we could tame them and “milk” them it would help a lot in getting milk glands. The goats can hit too hard and it can be a pain in more ways then one in getting the milk glands.
If I’m lucky I can find a tree close to a herd and just hang from a branch and shoot away. Or nerf up on some wood or rocks and shoot them from up around five blocks.
