Tried switching to the test server through steam the normal way of
Properties, betas, and then switching it to testing. When I do that it says “download paused” and the reason says “missing file privileges”? Not sure why this happens since I loaded up test a few days ago no problem.
Do you have a virus scanner? It may be blocking privileges due to the boundless.exe changing - you may need to add an exception for it.

Nope. No virus scanner, nothing new has changed since last time I played on test server. Verified integrity of game files too and that didn’t fix it
This is apparently an issue on Steam. I did a search on Google and found a site that details some possible fixes, such as changing your download region or repairing the Steam library folder (different to checking integrity of game files).
