Why would you want to make it so new players or low level players can’t use it? Why make it expensive and rare, so that we only improve the quality of life for a few players instead of all the players. If they are going to make the effort to implement it then make it easily accessible for all players.

New players are not gonna have 10.000s of items to sort.
I agree but since mining is one of the few things they can do, as well as maybe taking down trees and foliage, it is still very useful. Those are areas where you can get a lot of variations of type and color. I would say just let it be a toggle for everyone.
It’s fine either way as long as we get it
