Twice in the past two days I’ve heard a meteor fall on Finata.
Obviously this is impossible but it has happened twice.
And it’s not just in my head because @Spoodle and I share a living room and we nearly snapped our necks looking at each other wondering if the other person heard a meteor fall on Finata.
He even launched a full scale (1 person) manhunt around the immediate areas.
It’s true! Beth’s TV is the only one with sound - mine is always muted. It was the exact sound of a meteor falling and hitting the ground - no mistake about it!

Sometimes you can hear the sound of falling meteors through open - active - nearby portals.

… May be it was a falling meteor outside your own livingroom 
I would say thats odd then but the thing is there is almost always a portal active for you. Usually a “facing direction doesn’t have to be particularly near if there isn’t one near you. One of the reasons loading portals can take ages.
(At least that Used to be the case if its fixed now)
