It would be really nice to be able to actually pick items back up that were dropped when you want them. It seems like every time I want to drop something it comes right back to me however like just happened when I accidentally drop the wrong stack it won’t pick back up.
Just watched over 550 rough amethyst disappear because it wouldn’t pick back up.
So pissed about it I may not be playing for quite some time.

Need to take like 8 steps away, and then come back. Then it should pick it up.
Else your inventory was full.

I did all of that and had space. Even walked more than a plot away and it still didn’t.
Next step would be to relog, it will still be there when you get back.
Only had to do this once, And it was because I was lagging.
next time you would look 2x 
Usually picking things back up isnt a problem at all, its avoiding them so i dont pick them back up thats usually the issue. Sucks about the gems though, thats gotta hurt.
Shame about all the gems

Noticed when you switch to a loot magnet, items you dropped, are picked up easier.
Move a few plots away (not just a few blocks)
Use magnet
Use grapple
Relog
Switch chars
Sit down and cry.
