@Cuetzpalomitl you have the narrowest tallest screen ever! What phone is that??
I might make more of those pretty icons into letters.
E for exo only, N for new, T for trans chiselable. Less pretty but more usable.
Not sure what entity found means - that it exists? If so I’d instead do the opposite - put a red X for things that don’t exist, or cross those out, or leave those off the list.

Really we won’t know for sure that it doesn’t exist since its just marked by people who may or may not find it. So I think its better to mark that it has been found and the rest is just an unknown.

Went smaller Border here to look if it’s better, if not i’ll just go clean look like @majorvex showed.

The icons themselves are very nice
At 12-25px they are more like favicons though and that takes a little bit of extra tweaking and/or simplifying the design.

Yeah i used oort alphabet in them, the brand new color is “NEW”, the by recipe icon as an “R” inside the book and the found entity icon is a magnifying glass with an “?” in it.

------ I like the idea that something has a grayed out icon if the item isn’t present/found, then in color if present

Too many effects IMO - looks pretty but less usable.
Will I learn the icons? Yeah probably by tomorrow.
Will everyone / will new people notice the expandable legend? Prob not imo.

I agree with Cookie.
But I kinda liked the yellow star symbol currently signifying exo exclusive color. Made for quick and easy identification. Guess thats just me…

It feels slightly too ‘busy’, but I proper love the ‘new colour’ and ‘last seen’ information.
Question: Does the new colour include colours within that same resource family?
So if there was an Exo with Azure Ancient Trunk before, and another exo later on with Azure Twisted Trunk, will it say its a new colour?

The way it works is :
- It will look if the entity color exist on homeworlds - Exo exclusive if True
- If Exo exclusive, it will check if it can be obtained from an homeworld by transforming/solidifying/recipe
- If Exo exclusive, it will check if the entity color can be found in a rpevious exoworld - Brand New if False
- If Brand New is False, then it will check when the entity color appeared in the existed exoworlds then return the timelapse between that existed exoworld end time and the current exoworld start time.
So to answer your question yes it will says new if it never appeared before for that entity.

Gotchya, awesome work with this - probably the most helpful resource in Boundless

Thanks all for your suggestions. So it seems icons need to be more clearer. I will rework that and post another layout in the next days.

I don’t do websites anymore & I’m still learning VFX, but I do have expertise in vector graphics. If you need help with a specific icon or need help cleaning them up - holla

Great idea to include that the exo colour was already on another exo or not seen before.
I don’t think you need the colour block at the start of each line, it’s not giving any extra information?
Also, if you have the symbol for a ‘new’ colour, you probably don’t need the symbol for it being an exo colour as well?
It can’t be new without it being exo, so the exo symbol is not giving any extra information.
(I like info, but I also like efficiency!)

For me the minimal use of the simplest icons is the ideal.
So:
- Color icon with no border or shadow or any extra effects.
- All the info about colors being new or not, entities found or not, best if text only.
Long story short, in my opinion it would help readability if there was just one icon per entity, that being the color icon before text.
