New Food: Energy bar

It does not give any buff - so it won’t covered current buff provided by buff food
But its high energy can quickly relieves your hunger

All energy bars are unlocked in the common food recipe and just need machined in workbench

I think the easiest way to have some early stages food available is to make all the furnace cooked food available from core crafting (not the special foods like floating, persisting etc.).
So all the basic stews, soups, casseroles etc. That would give lower level players (and players who don’t want to invest in crafting food skills) a bit more of a choice if it comes to what they can cook quickly and eat. The basic furnace foods are made of 2 ingredients each and give higher energy levels than just cooked meat or berries. Should cover medium-level Energy Bonus players.

maybe use the stone drops as fuel for cooked meat

example one campfire goes out after 8steaks (wont calculate balance off this lol)

or can cook every day 2 meat on a campfire just like that, aldo it must registerd in something so that people not go set a lot of campfires and cook every2 on it :P. that would be a good thing :stuck_out_tongue:

Same, but the solution would be to have the Well Fed (or is it Full Up?) buff not cancel out a buff of a more specialty food like teaching, persisting, floating, etc., etc.

Said it a few times before but the best thing would be to do the same thing as with the brews. There are 3 different types of brews, Reviver which is always active and can be used alongside other long lasting brews like Fast or Strength and then there are the Instant brews which do not override Reviver nor the long lasting ones…

I feel the non-special foods, the foods that only fill you up should be like the Instant brews, they work instantly and do not override anything else, the Well Fed buff should be able to exist next the other ones.

Even better would be if the rest of the loafs/breads/pies are also divided in 2 sub-categories of which 1 can be active in both categories.
Persisting and teaching are in the very special category, one or the other can be active. Of the rest like floating, shielding, energising, etc. one can also be active besides Well Fed and one of the special category ones.

This will make all the food items much, much more interesting to use! And the ones like Protection, shielding, floating, energising, etc. can become way more viable as an alternative to using skillpoints which will make for much more diverse skill set builds then we have now!

Might be a great QoL update together with farming since I’m sure we get new food and brews then too!

That makes no sense. If you have stone available just make the furnace and you can fuel the furnace with wood.

Just a new “compact meat” or “compact cooked earthyams” that reward more energy would be nice. I am fine with the “well fed” buff being included with the other special buffs, because not getting tired means I can run longer without getting hungry, which is “special” as well as tools lasting longer, or bonus xp.
