Just starting my new world. I created my campfire and beacon today in the game and collecting some foliage. I love this game so far as it is more relaxing for me than Minecraft and still offers a reasonable challenge. A stout wildstock did kill me so I have to learn combat better and if there are any good weapons. Hope to see everyone in the game soon!

How do I know which world I am on and my coordinates? I am mostly going to just start building small huts.
At the top of the screen, it will display where you’re at, like someone’s place and the world you’re on. For example, I’m on Raxxa on this character.
For coordinates, you press Tab to bring up your menus (if on PC), click on places, and your coordinates will be displayed at the top. For example:

I hunted wildstock today. Is there a specific order I should be doing the quests?

not really - you push the part of game you want at the moment - crafting and machines, or mining or hunting
tutorial and quests are there to give you a general idea about mechanics and the game environment
you can also start ignoring the tutorial quests and do whatever you want without trying to achieve particular goals (if you feel confident enough about understanding the game already); your character will level up without the quests, and some quests will pop up as completed even if you don’t pay attention to them
I used to mix following quests with doing what I wanted at a moment.

Yeah the in game achievements most will come with just playing the game. There are a few that you have to achieve specific things but most just happen with time.
