The lighter the colour, the denser the resource concentration.
Ugh.
That’s not what I asked.
I’m not trying to be difficult, but my question was very simple.
I didn’t ask what does a higher concentration of ore look like on an atlas.
That’s the question that you answered.
That’s good info, but not what I need.
Let me make it simpler.
I place iron in my atlas.
When I view it I see dark blue, light blue, yellows, greens. Which color represents the currently slotted ore?
Do the ores have a specific color?
Thanks again for the ‘concentration’ info.
Any colour other than black/grey is where the ore is.
You should only be seeing one color when you slot something into the atlas at once. That color is representing what is currently slotted in.
Simple enough?
Why do you always respond with an arrogant response?
Dude answered exact way it works, lighter/bright the color, the more dense the material.
This is why I’m done answering questions like this.
Deleted my forum account to stop answering needed to make a new one, please don’t talk when you don’t know what you are saying
What are you even talking about?
All of them, as bregma said.
His response to you from last time, tried to make a joke didn’t work. And explaining a joke just makes it bad.
Yes. The coloured areas represent the currently slotted ore. For example, if you slot Iron Ore, the colours represent where you will find Iron Ore. The higher the luminosity of the colour, the greater the density of the slotted item at that location in the World. For example, if you slotted Iron Ore in your Atlas then light blue would indicate a place where Iron Ore could be found in that World, but you will encouter Iron Ore less frequently there than you would in an area marked with yellow on the same atlas.
I believe this answers your question directly, precisely, and completely.
The atlas only shows whichever resource you have put into it, so if you put iron ore in it will only show iron, if you’re looking for gold then you would need to take the iron out and put in a gold ore. Only one resource at a time.
Pressing X removes the resource if that wasn’t answered or told if you’ve got your cursor over the atlas.
Actually, lol… he answered the question perfectly. The color variations represent hotspots. The brighter the color, the more concentrated the area is. If you see any color other than black, you’re seeing where the resource is found.
One thing to note… iron is pretty much everywhere. So if you’re putting iron in your atlas that might explain why you’re not understanding the answer. Try it on a map of McRib with a Diamond in it. Or on flan with a glowing lamella.
It’s a thermal hot-spot map. The lighter/brighter the spot, the more dense the ore that you put on the atlas.
