Whilst we’re waiting for the last few World Builder issues to be resolved, I thought you might be interested to see an updated list of the noise functions. A few new items to spot.
Note: Seems I’m too stupid to get these images to display clearly.

Awesome Having explicit constant/min/max/sum/product (3d!) nodes is going to be tremendously useful, I bet.
And finally, what is this wave stuff? sine?
Edit: I forgot how to world builder

Even better! We’re going to have a lot of fun with all these new tools
Oh, with plane directions
Really look interesting.
With Min/Max filter it could be some nice structures.
I want it now…

Aha! So the (1d) wave function is applied for each axis that is enabled in the directions chooser? Summed/normalized?
Or am I misinterpreting?

lucadeltodecso:
multiplied
That would make more sense :S
With right nodes it should be possible to fade it away in the selected direction, getting a altitude filter.
Any plans yet when it releases?
Edit:
I know i am sounding like a kiddy outside a candy-shop…

Idea for the distant future: could add 1d function nodes - nodes like this could mix and match per axis.
Edit: actually, maybe not all that useful (except for UI reasons); since we can just multiply these wave nodes together for the same result
