I’d definitely agree that I see no reason for the flagging, but:
I’m sure this will be unpopular opinion, but goodness no. This forum needs impartial moderators, not ones that split off negative opinions and threads they’d rather hide away into the ‘Off topic’ category (so they don’t appear on the Latest posts page unless you have already been involved in them… and lets face it, nobody goes to a game forum looking for information about the game and goes to the off-topic section to do so), despite the fact that those posts are “Thoughts and feelings” about Boundless which, given that this is the forum about Boundless, means they are about as on-topic as they can get and fully belong in general.

Would you rather see threads descend into anarchy or chaos? A lot of that was done to head off some very heated discussions, that honestly are not necessary. You want to see negativity run rampant, go somewhere else.
We don’t need a lot of negative nancies dragging the forums down to their level just to feel better about themselves.

The truth is that some people on the forums are snowflakes, but we can’t come right out and say that for fear of offending someone.
So the truth is not always the best course. Better to be civil and keep the peace.

Also speaking as a kid who has learnt that people sometimes just need to be able to get it all out if it’s stopped to soon everyone will just keep doing it
But using the logic that those discussions aren’t necessary (I can only assume your reasoning is because they’ve been done to death an no new information has been given since?), then isn’t it also true to say any generally positive opinions about Boundless ALSO doesn’t need repeating or discussing, or should at least be moved to “Off Topic” as well for the same reasons?
Very true. But we also don’t need a lot of myopic marthas drowning the forum with their factually unfounded positivity just because they don’t see any problems and don’t understand that other people aren’t inherently wrong simple because they don’t agree.
I’d definitely agree that that’s part of the problem. People don’t seem to be allowed to have negative opinions without being contradicted and shouted down at every turn. Even the thread that is specifically for “What turns you off Boundless” isn’t a safe space from people telling you that you’re just not doing it right. And like you said, if people don’t feel like they can get it off their chest, perhaps that’s contributing to the number of more negative posts?

I addressed this in another post. I don’t think any of the positive people are blind to the issues or unaware of the negatives how could they be with all the positives and the negatives that are posted all over the forums daily. I also feel the opposite holds true as all the negative people are very well aware of the games positives or they wouldn’t be so passionate about wanting change.

Whats about all the sexism here guys xD negative Nancies, myopic Marthas… there’s already the Karens. How about we use men names once in a while for negative stuff? 
cause honestly I saw already so many men behaving worse than a little moody girl lol. Would be at least fun to see once in a while to have some change and not being always about the ladies xD (not seriously spoken here about the sexism, but You for sure know what I mean)
