Seems to be new this morning. Access to the Internet at large seems okay.
Game is running ok for me here. Is it still happening?
Options are:
- An issue the Boundless service.
- A bad connect between yourself and the service (somewhere).
We can’t do much about #2 and #1 seems to be ok at the moment.
It’s good now. I didn’t have any idea in what direction to poke (that is, tracert) in order to determine where the breakdown occurred. I suspected it was a “somewhere between here and there” problem but without a “there” to target, I had nothing.
We plan to update the Boundless launcher to be a little more helpful with this sort of thing. Ideally a connection failure would be communicated before the player gets into the game engine. At a minimum a more helpful message and hopefully a link to some sort of status page.
