So I may be the only one who has missed this, but today for the first time I went gathering on a planet that had not finalized its block colours Evolution X. When farming on such a planet, you are still able to get all the drops, not only from the plants, but also from the blocks, but you don’t end up with an inventory full of blocks you didnt want. I came here for the mushrooms, but I’m defiantly coming back to try some iron mining (as it has a good percentage). It seems like it might be an interesting way to setup a planet with farms for sponge or growth.
there are already many sov made for resource farm without color finalized,
Hello,
All my planets have/had finalized the colors.
For me it’s a waste of tools if I “only” get ores etc, but not the stones.
It just takes a little more time for logistics of the stones or reclaim.
Most sovereign planets allow campfires, so what more could you want?
Also on hunt planets having block drops add up in the inventory just means needing more stops for campfires… So many avoid the blocks by keeping the world colors unlocked.
Personally, most of my planets have locked colors so I can collect different rocks and items… however I have two of my farm planets that are unlocked (Forlorn Outpost and Topazinga). Plenty of places to get rocks, but if I don’t feel like dealing with rocks… I have that too.
Sometimes I am not in the mood for rocks and campfires. But when I am, Shorbea, Beladriel, Forlorn Outland… I go there.
Which reminds me… I’ll lock the colors on Yalos soon… now that gleambow is ending. That other issue is trying to decide what colors to lock in… I haven’t done a color inventory in a minute… So there’s that.
^c^
I actually think I might agree with rock mining, i make so many stone blocks, its good to collect them up, but has anyone made a good growth or sponge farm without finalizing colours, or have location tokens on sale?
On the other side of the coin those that have Sovereigns That you cannot collect anything. If they are not Hunt planets I would ask that they make them non discoverable. It can be done at the world control. Drives me crazy to find a planet with a color of rock or grass etc. Spend time going to nearest planet. finding it in the sky. Warp to it just to find out I cannot collect anything. Anything one collects from said planet will regen so it seems silly to lock it. But it is a personal choice. My sovs are all available to collect on. I only lock my hunt planet for a few hours for a hunt.
there are also several sov planet just locked with no perm to anything, without any build, without portal,
just world control beacon and thats all, what a point to make a sov and locked it away?
