NPC Messages

Hey, uhm if there will be NPC’s and the Players will be abel to place them, could there be an option to custormize whole Conversations for them? Like an Message with Options of Questions you can ask for or even answers.

Example:

Hey!
I’m [NPC Name], how can I help you?

  • What is this Place?

This is the Town of [Guildname]! Beautiful City isn’t it?
It’s my Hometown, if you have any Questions I’m always willing to help strangers!

  • Who’s the Guildleader?
  • How can I get a member of the Guild?
  • Where can I trade stuff?
  • You’re actually very cute…
  • No thanks, maybe later.

Thats probably [Player Name], he’s the one in charge. Its hard to get an chat with him, hes very busy!

Currently the Guild does not accept new Guild Members.

You can Trade in any Shop you can find around here! Just go out and take a look!

Yeah and that would be it. It’s just that the NPC’s could get an own personality by the Players, also with that kind of thing you could make Adventures. That would make it an win-win. 2 Things in one :smiley:

Well actually that would also pervent from People spamming Signs to explain something in a Town like on Minecraft Servers. Thats what I mean:

Although NPCs aren’t in the current plan reading stuff like this makes me want them :smile:

It’d be cool if you could also record a voice for the NPC’s. So that you could also hear the dialogue not just read it. If this idea did get implemented it’d also be cool if some NPC’s, like the commoner’s that wouldn’t know english, could speak in Oortian and their dialogue would be depicted with oort glyphs and/or the oort alphabet! It would be a great feature that can be added after the initials are done. :smiley:
