There has been quite a bit of things added to the game… i am failing to understand how you came to the conclusion nothing had been added while in fact yes things have indeed been added?
i wanna throw in my 2 cents
boundless yes boundless is boundless, you either hate it or you love it there is no in-between
most of the community are players that have been here from the start and felt the pain of the changes that we had in-game. a pain new players don’t have to experience anymore! most of us accept the changes and go with the flow and have faith.
we all have a certain time we get fed up we disagree and we push the limits of the community and yourself. overall we are a small playerbase (for now) and we should respect one another and sometimes an argument can end up in a good friendship, a good argument is always ending the way it should, just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean you cannot accept it right?
the same is with boundless, boundless goes through a lot of changes that are currently influencing the moods and gameplay and as much as we have things to complain about I do agree on some parts, but we still have to motivate everyone and the devs included they are not changing it for the better for them but for us as a player. if you don’t agree on something instead of complaining everywhere post a suggestion and right now it feels like demanding!
if you don’t accept the changes currently that are done then this game is not for you but I will be happy to take your items and give it to someone that does accept the game and likes the game in the current state.
people compare games with games and this should stop too!
I have a friend who joined and boundless is her first game ever to be played
she got so hyped after finding out the little things and telling me with excitement to come to check her home and she placed a few flowers next to it and it just makes her happy!
or searching for coal with a wooden hammer and be all happy to find 1 piece
or tell me that she crafted a chair and is proud she did.
you see that’s legit happiness and pure enjoyment right there enjoying the little things within boundless, little does she know boundless has so much to offer! and I will be guiding here all the way and anyone who loves too can join and we can just make boundless a better place for new players but also the old
like I said before if you don’t like boundless fine that’s alright!
but do not give boundless a bad name or reputation if you don’t like it moves on.
and let everyone else that enjoys the game, enjoy it in peace thank you
like I said if u quit and you have items don’t let them go to waste give them to someone who appreciates the game and enjoys it.
sorry 2 cents became 5 Dolla
Everyone heard that you want a roadmap for future updates now. Please consider it expressed now, instead of rehashing it.
The rest of us have multitudes of wishes too. Most of us post our wishes once and move on.
You make a valid point.
But as long as things don’t change, until the game gets the marketing it needs and the playerbase goes steadily above at least 1k concurent players, I’ll keep rehashing my point. I’ll stop when I lose hope for this game.
Alright.

I don’t think the flag was necessary. The tone wasn’t ok, but he had a point.
The devs are making updates for around 250 players (if we believe the charts), and they do so based on the feedback of less than that amount of players (+ the feedback left by the disgruntled players on Steam, which are unlikely to come back). That’s another issue.
Well… unless you argue that it’s sufficient.
I like secrets more, makes updated more interesting to me. And in my life I’ve learned to not care about rumors.
Ok let’s just make this imaginary exercise.
You and many others want to have a lot of players running around boundless. But have you ever think about how awful that could be?
Just look at what happened to biitula with out “small” (and seems like for most of you useless) amount of players.
Look how we react about new or missing content, are you sure that we are ready for thousands of players right now?
Also James already said that for now the number of players is good I don’t know why you keep saying things like “the game is gonna die”
This game has one of the most communicative development team I’ve seen and they actually listen to what we all say and I feel like we are abusing that a lot.
Goblinounours… you do not need to repeat your point over and over. BIG turn off to alot of us when every day complaint complaint complaint.
Have you ever considered your constant never ending complaints is REALLY what drives players and perspective players looking at the game away? Make your point ONCE is much more useful than filling the forums up with negative this negative that…because your repeating over and over is seen as just that by alot of people.
“Don’t Worry, Be Happy!”
Incorrect. It seems lots of people are still confusing concurrent players as total players…
Actually, something I want to highlight about James’ post is this part …
… this refers to people who play almost daily…
40% of 3500 players is 1400 Daily Active Players
Thank you for having stressed these points the last few days.
Fair enough. Thanks for the clarification!
Though, of the average 3500 MAU, how many come and go never to come back, only to be replaced by new players who will do the same? Or in other words, how many of these are people who stay for like 6 months and more?
@Cuetzpalomitl
Do you really believe the game should stay with 250 concurrent players (disregarding the MAU number Stretchious pointed out)?
With more players, you could have more worlds added. Problem (likely) solved.
As for the forum, sure, it’s a good point, more people arguing and giving feedback could push the devs to communicate even less. But how many are registered already? Not everybody is active in here. Of the 3500 MAU, how many are regularly with us on the forums?
Also, I’m not saying “the game is gonna die”. I’m saying “I’m afraid it could if nothing changes”. Very different. I’m not making some kind of doomsday prophecy or anything…
Regarding the dev team being communicative, well, this thread wouldn’t be here if that was completely true. I mean, sure, there’s some social media stuff going on, Leahlemoncakes sure does an awesome job with that. The team listens to our feedback, too. Sometimes, secret stuff filters out.
I wouldn’t say it’s an awesome level of communication, though. I’d even say it was better back when we had these un-interactive roadmap pictures.
For the time being yes
That won’t solve the problem, because the problem is interaction with other players and we could have infinite worlds and if you have something against another player, he could chase you to any of them.
All I say is that the game needs to fix at least the plotting and the expiring beacons issues. Having millions of players now is not a smart idea right now.
Well, I wasn’t saying millions, but yeah, fair enough.
I mean, maybe they will crank-up the marketing once private worlds are out with a proper UI to buy them and stuff. That would be the big selling point.
Guys… I think we can stop discussing this subject for now alright ? all we do now is repeating the same arguments over and over again and it’s just going full circle so please… Can we all agree to move on and just trust the devs for now ? I got what I wanted from this threads, discussions and more importantly, a response from a dev, but now it’s still going on even 3 days after I made it, I think we all get it by now… it is frustrating to see the game get no marketing and have such a small playerbase, but it’s not by repeating the same argument over and over again that’ll go “faster”, best thing we can do is to wait and see
If you started the thread you can ask a mod to close the thread.
fo real ? who can do that ? @Stretchious ? or any of the devs ? if so please… close this thread
@Stretchious @majorvex are our moderators who people usually ask. you can also ask @Leahlemoncakes and @james.
Edit: However, this thread has some really good information for people in it along with some very interesting perspectives. James has been known to leave threads open that are developing good conversations that haven’t turned into the downward spiral of circular arguments.
ok thanks.
So yeah @Stretchious @majorvex if you could close this thread I would greatly appreciate it… we got a lot out of it so I think it’s time to move on
Closed as Per OP’s request.
