Another special event world! Portal at Oortmas Landing.

Stuck the portal in the center of a big ice sheet area, put some winter biomes on this one to try to help with the green canes. Chose the temperate ones to be good hunting spots. But now, knowing how the meteors work, doing it differently on the regions - no portals or platforms, I’m just sticking big ugly gleam poles up to the world limit in region centers to mark them. They can be seen from a good ways off. Some pics below. Edit: Might limit these to 10-12 or so here. So, can just run around on foot, and hopefully with the addition of the icy biomes here, get more green canes too.

For awhile I was hoarding them, but now have a bunch since some gleam farms I set up expired. I’m only getting a few of them from this, so figured I’d throw these ones out as gifts.

Definitely doing better here than Oortmas Land with the green canes, just from sniping what I saw while running around putting up gleam poles.

I’d recommend this over Oortmas Land. The poles may be an eyesore but it works, I didn’t put them up everywhere, but enough that you can come here, run around between them, and farm both types of canes. And really, the snowball fights seem easier if they hit an ice sheet, as the spitters aren’t hidden like they can be in grass and trees.
