shrug Regen on Alcyon seems fine to me. Then again, you cannot just brute force mine on Alcyon.

He meant that if you make a compressed diamond, and place it, you can change it with specially forged gem chisel to ruby (amethyst <-> emerald, topaz <-> sapphire) and then pick up compacted ruby
