PVP is off on my server. Id say its more like Boundless mixed with MC currently without mods.

Made a post in the Hytale thread, first impressions good but still just getting my feet wet, a lot of games going! 
Still liking Cubic Odyssey, too.
For those who like turn-based RPGs, check out the demo out now for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. It’s very good IMO - I played both the original and DS version. Only real knock on the original is the graphics, which are beautiful in this remake. Though, I did read they’ve streamlined the game some. However, the original was LONG, like hundred hours or more. You should get at least a few hours of play out of the demo, so if you’ve never played it and like the genre, free to give it a try.

For EA Hytale.is pretty great it runs good and there is a lot to explore. I haven’t ran into any bugs personally, but having been running two servers they seem to be working some bugs out. Out server does hold 200 folks though.
The amount of mods for the game doubles every day there are currently about 1000 or so.
The great thing about the game to me is it’s more of a foundation for many games like side scrollers, RPGs, overhead games etc. You can also daisy chain servers so with 5 servers you can have 1000 players pretty cool.

I bought Hytale and have played it a bit over the weekend. It’s pretty good, considering it’s early access. It looks nice and seems quite smooth. I’ve not had any crashes or noticeable bugs so far.
The thing that struck me, playing a new game similar to Boundless, was the new player experience is infinitely better than Boundless. If Monumental ever get round to working on the game they should do what Hytale does i.e. don’t impede the new player with a slow moving character, and don’t make it so hard to gather blocks. Boundless needs to scrap skills relating to speed of movement and speed of using pickaxes, etc. The first tools you make in Hytale are quick to use, even if it takes a few strikes to break a block, and you don’t have an asthmatic wheeze by running out of stamina after chopping for 30 seconds either.
Anyway Hytale looks good, plays good and it feels less clunky than Minecraft does now.

There are currently over 2000+ mods for Hytale already including automation. I watch the mods double/triple during the day. Saw someone actually mod Windows 95, Doom and Classic Minecraft to run inside of Hytale.
I started working on a chiseling mod recently also.

Yup Vanilla is fine, exactly what we did was play for a good while on Vanilla. Been fun on our little server. Had DK, VerucaKatt, Tarranth and a few others there.
I doubt this will ever come to fruition, but you never know. With the current state of the game and the constant flow of exos with an extended lifetime and 30+ new colors it has really made me not want to play Boundless at all.

Starsand Island on Steam - Starland Island. I looked into this when I saw the achievement list pop on Trueachievements. The previews here on Steam really grabbed me with the building and the style - looks gorgeous.
Someone on the boards there said it will be a Feb release, so one to keep an eye on if you like the general life sim genre, stuff like the old Harvest Moon series and Disney Dreamlight Valley.
