Just a short rant really, as the topic says…this games filter has driven me nuts at times over the years. Well today I was trying to say to someone else ingame what colours were on the planet Perse. To my surprise it filtered this name…cant even tell him planet name ingame…cmon this filter is trying to be overly protective

I wonder who created the filter - must have been really dedicated to researching languages and preventing the evil of creativity of human speech

The trouble with that is that the filter isn’t even consistent. Ive found before that many English words that get hit by the filter but their equivalent words in other languages don’t.

The good thing is, on PC you can just disable the filter and you are fine. Others that didn’t and PS users aren’t though. See also this post by James.
Well maybe it’s something that the future new dev team can look into, as a small change to learn how to make changes to the game and verify that the publish pipelines to the stores are working.
I was at the event where they actually had to fix the filter. Basically when Brown Town hunts were still a thing somebody found a really easy work-around something like p’oop or something to be able to say some normally blocked words. Within the next 2 days it didnt work anymore xD
