doesn’t work with hot moss grass. it turns it brown. I don’t know why

Have you tried it with another soil colour? No idea if it will make any difference… just a thought

Yeah I think @AeneaGames told me about this when I was looking for white dirt

@Ovis figured it out. if the grass is native to the planet, it turns it a different color. what is ‘dark rose’ on Lutrion ?

Experimento Bot Ovis 4.0 activated. Why does this not surprise me>

The silty soil I’m fairly sure.

native grass gives any soil the color that type of soil has on that planet aparently

Right but you could get those colors anyway right? How would this help you get white?

Yes, I did, and I told several people!

Before concrete came out I wanted to make some builds with sands and soils instead and was happy to find this by accident!

Of course, in the midst of converting many soil blocks concrete was announced, :joy:

if you have white grass seeds, plant them on some soil, lattice chisel it, remove block and voila, a white soil block.

Sadly there weren’t any white grass seeds back then I believe

I must be confused. What exactly does this do? It sounds like it turns a soil block into the world color soil. But how would that help, if you could farm that soil anyway? I am sure I am missing something.

Ohhhhhhh reeeeeally?
You lose the seed though right?

Yes you do…

I already mentioned it here:

But I knew way before concrete came out. I even showed @Nightstar back then…
