Some can make the patterned concrete to “shine”

I might be totally off here but what i know is that it will start emiting Light When its dark.
Above pic its clearly night time Or At least dark.
Below pic seems like its from Shop Or something thats lighted up.
So darkness is the factor here i think

It also depends on the color, the lighter the pattern concrete the more (dot glow)

Valhalla has black one and it is shinning bright white…

then gleam or something has been added, itself black has the least glow to pattern

The dots shine on their own but gleam light nearby can be used to help this or alter the colour of the dots I believe.

If it’s anything like Gleam itself, then the colour prefix on the concrete likely has something to do with the brightness of the gleam it contains… so colour prefixes like Crisp, Light, Bright, Cool, Stark and Cold will most likely be much brighter than Deep, Dark, Silk, Shadow, Night and Strong variants.

are you saying concrete contains gleam? because it doesn’t its pure from the opal/kindling
but the darker the concrete the less bright the dots will become as you could see from my screenshot, adding gleam around or near the concrete just makes the concrete show up more but really to have gleam brighten up the dots is not the case

Miswording on my part there - I’m only saying that the emissive light that comes from it acts in the same way as gleam with regards to the colour prefixes.

Yeah I was pretty disappointed to find out that my black patterned concrete didn’t glow at all.
After some time and looking at a ton of colors with someone, I think it is (as someone suggested) to do with the accent color. So, for instance, the accent color in a night shade appears to be black so if you were to make say, night blue patterned concrete I don’t think you would really notice the dots. Black itself, ofc the same.
As far as I can tell (looking at them in various spots and guessing) they’re emissive, not reflective.
