Petition of how to fix your last patch

im only in this phase cuz of my ambitious project to mass-craft compacted diamonds and foreseeably only the next days. Its a project for me, not a grind. Later, if i might decide to sell this stuff i might start a grind, but then it will be more a profession to get some cash and make people happy
180 diamonds 2 days, even interrupted by real life € grind with iron tools no bombs

I think it is as useful. When i will have time i will check silver hammer with forge without power.
Problem is community skipped this whole section using bomb mining. Which means pathfinders who usually work out how to do stuff didn’t yet prepared ways. We need to figure them out now. And people are really unhappy because a lot of experimentation and trial and error is required, before we will learn how we should do it. I mean game hours for various players.

That means followers who want most efficient way have a problem now. Cause we don’t know what it is. That makes a lot of people upset cause they feel like being stalled by game.

I can agree here. Progression is broken. I’ve seen u mention this in several threads and its spot on. Buff silver and gold tools and/or reduce mats (mainly the power) to make titanium tools.

Diamond is above titanium. Why would we need diamond (power coils) to make titanium. And before anyone suggests just buying the titanium tools from shops, that shouldnt be what new players need to do. Especially with some shops selling titanium hammers overpriced at 17k a piece

Personally, I’m selling (unforged) titanium hammers for 1850 at my shop, which I feel is a reasonable price. I’ve never seen any (unforged) titanium tools being sold for over 3k. I suppose it’s a matter of bargain-hunting. :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree that the jump from iron to titanium is too great - tbh, there feels to be a massive power gap between iron and titanium, especially considering the difficulty of getting silver and gold vs. how useful those tools even are.

Gold breaks extremely fast, barely does more damage than iron, and has a slightly higher crit chance, while silver hits faster, sure but does just about the same or less damage (can’t remember exactly) damage than iron, also meaning in more rapid use of more coin to get more tools to use those same tools.

I suppose silver is decent for lower end worlds if you want to harvest something quickly in case you got the skills to do so, but the power gap is still there.

I remember bargain hunting for titanium hammers about a week and a half ago. After shop and planet hopping for 1-2 hours i found one shop selling for 17k. Of course as a new player i didnt have 17k so luckily i didnt buy it. Found another shop selling for 3k and bought that.

Now im pretty patient but thinking like a brand new player that can easily turn them off to the game entiry

Well, up until last week you could find 3x3 aoe diamond hammers for 10-15k or so, so that titanium hammer was either very highly forged or the shop owner was trying their best not to sell it.

Maybe so, i was too new to even know you could forge them at that point so its possible. my main point is that at the very least the power requirement should be removed or the preceding tools buffed for the solo players.

a week and a half ago I was selling titanium tools for 1800 :o - aw man you should have had been at my shop ! - ofc I might have been sold out.

Yea im more aware of the shops selling at a decent price now so i have a better idea where to shop. But as a brand new player seeing what seems like hundreds of portals, navigating never before seen cities and getting lost its a bit overwhelming at first :joy:

Drawing from my own profession, when I’m putting a documentary together I find myself sometimes getting really into the details, making connections drawing the lines revealing how everything comes together and it’s great fun… but the project is not always the better for it, overly complicated has been used by some clients, and on standing back and looking from the other perspective I find myself agreeing, while I found it great connecting all the dots it’s often unnecessary to get to final goal, I need to weigh people’s attention spans and interest against how much info to portray, and id say the same is true here, what you consider “boring” might be just what’s needed in order to keep us from getting bored in the process.

stick with the context please. i was talking to hashmalash who built the aqua hubs and his 50k stones a day for streets and buildings.
300 leaves i dont call grind, i call easy and certainly no great achievement. But its a start so u have my congratz for this

not the game, or the devs are “punishing” you for the way you play, as long as you have fun the way you play, you cant be punished.

game has become a lot more grindy and has become less fun i will give the dev’s that. My biggest issue is the energy system which i absolutly hate and what makes it even more grindy for me. 3-5 secs after last action for regen to kick in makes this just a job i don’t get paid for.

It takes forever to find the gems on lvl 5 planets for power coils, let alone trying to use iron to try and find diamond and titanium to just be able to make tools to dig through common material blocks at a somewhat reasonable pace. Why at least, do the common blocks have to be stronger and harder to break on higher lvl planets? Higher tier resource blocks make sense to be harder to break but trying to use iron/silver/gold hammers to break through is so sluggish, and by the time I actually find what I’m looking for, ive spent an hour or two plus searching with most of my mining gear broken for very minimal return. The common blocks like rocks, gravel, dirt, and sand should have the same health across the board on all planets. Making the game this grindy has completely turned me off from playing the game anymore. So frustrating just sitting there hacking away and breaking your items on trash blocks to be able to find higher tier resources. I don’t play these types of games to be a merchant and work the economy, I want to be able to grow on my own terms, but this game has made the solo path insanely difficult, and monotonous.

People are going to just going to tell you: “Shut up, it’s an MMO, deal with it.” Trust me, you can’t get through to them, I’ve been trying. They’re too invested in with them having to do everything the hard way, and don’t want to make it easier.

WHICH IS FUNNY SINCE EVERYTHING EVER INVENTED IN HISTORY AND PROGRESS HAS BEEN TO MAKE EVERYTHING EASIER THAN IT WAS BEFORE.

But you can’t really convince the old fasion to change their ways. That’s why we invented retirement homes.

How often do you play???

Ok so I just want to get this straight now… EVERYONE AGREES WITH ME NOW RIGHT??? I said the 5th thing back in beta but I got crapped on by their total of 6 daily players and the devs and was told I was wrong and should shut up when I quit the first time thanks to them forcing me to be stuck on vulpto… I actually don’t mind the new stat system at all, just the luck change.

About 2 hours total throughout a day. Maybe 3 if I’m switching back and forth to craft something taking 2+ hours to check if it’s done or not.

Can’t really find the motivation to play longer than 30 minutes total, cause it’s just not as fun anymore, since I can’t progress unless I specifically go out of my way for 2-3 hours seeking out materials I don’t want to find, just to make 1 items, which will break in an hour of play.
