Photoshop CC "end-of-file" error

So I thumped my desk juuuust a little bit and my comp crashed. I thought everything was going to be okay until I started trying to open my PSD file.

I then remembered that I saved it as a jpeg just before it crashed, but it was inevitable.

I researched and tried to look for answers, most of the sources say that there was a very slight chance of recovery, but most of the time they’re gone forever. I’m trying one of the possible solutions at the moment, Stellar Pheonix.

I just wanted to share my experience with you all. Hoping that this never happens to you artists out there. If any of you have any other solutions to this problem I would love to know.

i looked some on the internet and this looks like it have a solution http://www.fontografist.com/tips-tricks/“unexpected-end-of-file”-error-in-photoshop/#.Voj7VPnhDIU

Thank you for the links,
The first link is more about how I can prevent my files from being corrupted, but it did have some very useful points. I’ll be running backups every week from now on ^^.

glad i helped

End of the line, Flynn.

Gotta be careful with hitting computers. My whole hard drive was corrupted when I dropped mine once.
