how to place lava in walls without it going everywhere everytime I do it its just flows out and on the floor

no but its literally just a one block strip from top to bottom of the wall and it just pours out of the block it fills and goes everywhere
so I don’t know what to do
You have to chisel the blocks before you put it in. Put a block on top, chisel it, put a block on the floor, chisel it, then put the lava in the top block. Don’t use blocks that the lava will destroy.
Are you trying to have it fill in a small space or are you trying to have it flow like a fountain or waterfall?
yeah small space one block wide top to bottom, thanks I think this will work

Sorry for the bad artwork. At work so can’t show it in game.
But if you don’t have blocks next to the source block it will pour to the sides
Also need the chisel spot on floor to keep it contained from spilling out on the floor. As mentioned above if using ceiling chisel a spot out to avoid the need of adding more blocks
