This really still wonā€™t help with a stat like unique users or monthly active, though.

It is good to have a site thatā€™s polling the actual servers IMO. Thereā€™s been nothing since boundlessninja right?

Way better than having nothing but steam numbers.

Yeah, I cannot poll the individual users on a world at a given time. That would likely have to be data that the devs would have to release. The API only gives a number of players on the world at a given time.

Iā€™ve been logging player counts, every 10 minutes, since the start of 2020, but havenā€™t really exposed the data on the site (other than a forum post a while ago).

And rental worlds (sovereign/creative) are around the corner, many people, like me, are not all that active at the moment in anticipation of the upcoming release so it will appear quieter now than it shouldā€¦
