I have been vocal (Maybe too vocal) about my concerns regarding overall plot availability particularly after reaching level 50. Instead of just whining I would like to discuss a solution I have been thinking about.
Can we not add a skill that would allow a builder to always have a ready supply of plots? If I am level 50 and I have earned 320 plots the skill would allow me to always have a buffer of 160 plots (50% of what I earned) available. I understand the concerns of some others and I also do not want a builder to place thousands of plots and never use them. Plots would only be considered used, if they had at least one player placed block in them. The used plots would be all plots in a vertical stack up and down from the one containing the placed block to allow for the preservation of items like trees, but not in any other direction. I would also propose a limit to the number of used plots anyone can place on a single planet. I would make that limit a function of the player level. For each level you can place maximum of 100 plots on a planet. At level 50 and above 5000 would be the absolute limit. This would allow for the creation of something like Prozee’s hub. But if you make a large construct like that, then you have to move to another world for your next build. I also think the fueling requirements should be increased based on the size of the build. Any build over 500 should require twice the fuel, 1000 three times the fuel, 1500 four times the fuel, and then follow the same progression to the plot limit on a planet. I also would think you might want to limit the plots to a character and all their alts in total to prevent abuse.
I am not sure how complicated this would be for the developers, but I wanted to make a suggestion.
