I like the hunting. Probably why I still play. What don’t like about it? Too few enemy types?
I always thought the hunting could go from good to amazing if they had double or triple the enemy types. And bosses {Titans}

Ye its fun to go on one big ass hunt, but go around and hunt 35 metorites all around the globe that u finish in 2mins cuz there is a decked out guy 1 shoting everything? meh not fun to me…

Thats cool, i like that actually but ill never do it… im here for “Citizen” interaction (cant even call it citizen its just scattered settlers… i like talkin to people makin shops, events like a guide tours…
We as players can make new players stay more, and get more players… we just need to work togheter, or as the Alienfish said:

That could be cool, but again all you people is talk about hunting and add to the hunting, that all depends on devs, why dont we as players do something about it…

I am active but I cannot honestly say I have ever seen you… This is a pretty big Universe… are there 1000000s of active players? No. But to say there are none just because you do not see them is inaccurate
on beckon is our release town called the aquatopian embassy but we have build in the meantime a mega town on nia zed ka called sunken town
wich you can visit by using the aquatopian empire
portal inside the ultima world hub
we are waiting on our final planet called aquarius in meantime you can find us on beckon(embassy) sunkentown(niazedka) aqua farmlands (maryx) and guildsanctum (kada)

and like to take our sweet time for better results in the end keeps us away from getting bored

why not would def make game more popular for pure builders but would like to add that planet aquarius will be public world just like any other same rulez to plot and to use

as I am a new player.
I fully admit while I like to be off doing my own things, I do like to see other people and what they are making, and the random person rolling through what I am trying to make. The guild I am in, I have never actually meet anyone else from it, or spoken to anyone, I should probably find another one just to at least randomly see some chatting in it.
From one of your other posts, I wish I had everything, or at least a lot more of the stuff I need to actually do the build I have in my head. I like the building part (even if I kinda suck at it) But I don’t lol. So lots of gathering still for me.
Need to figure out how to level faster too, need more plots for my planned idea.

I never understood why the devs/company behind this game haven’t more aggressively advertised this gem of a game, it really does need more people I feel like there’s some punishing systems in place that could be improved for player longevity like beacon fuel and portal fuel, forging rng but serious devs buy some ads on youtube or tv or something get some billboards in cities I don’t know w/e it is people do to get some visibility do it.

I completely disagree. That, to me, is when the fun comes. I know a lot of people don’t agree with me and I don’t get it lol. I dont like the grind, I like to explore and build. That can happen before and after you have everything.
They’ve done things like a free weekend, which brought in a LOT of new players all at once but it revealed that this game still has a bunch of kinks to work out and difficulties for new players like lack of explanation, smack of the grind wall, and mechanics that work differently than other games… (trying to be as broad as I can here, there were a lot of different things)
but the thing is, most of them did not stay. Actually the popularity continued to decrease after that. The game is not quite ready for a heavy advertisement push.

Grind is great when its fun, hunting isn’t fun, making beacon fuel isn’t fun, the grind needs to be fun and not have the potential to close you off from people(portals) or delete your entire build(beacon fuel) this is very new player unfriendly im not saying the mechanics of fueling need to go but they do need to be revised. Oort could be farmable, it could be minable it could be obtained in more ways than just hunting… the shards could last a heck of a lot longer no one uses the advanced shards they aren’t worth it so why not buff the default shards? Portal durations are too short buff the times they are open on a full stack on the bigger portals not horrible but at least give it 2 weeks on a big portal… Beacons are better than portal fuel imho but it just wrecks a noob if their stuff gets deleted. Forging… RNG is straight terrible here its like going to the casino where the house wins 90% of the time its not fun.

what if the developers sent a message to everyone who has not logged in in 60 days and offered them something of value to come back? I have received messages like this from games before.
