Portals stay open when fuelled by oort shards, conduits are a one off use. Oort shards are obtained using the extractor … i can’t remember how many from an oort stone but I’m sure someone else on here would be able to answer that
Warp conduits are much cheaper and used for one way, one time use (per player, so a group can go through but not back) that stays open for 1 minute and requires coin to open. You only need to build one side. Whereas portal conduits are permanent, you must build the destination portal first, grab a location token from it, then head to the source location and build the same shape. Toss in the token and oort shards, you will need shards to simply open it as well as some to keep it open.
So if I want to maintain a conduit to warp from my planet to another point in the same planet, does it cost anything? This image says no. I just want to be sure
