Portal conduit

Seen several posts about them (Pain to scroll trough and read). Don’t care about distance or what so ever all i want to know is.

1portal conduite block can open across a distance of how many Blinksec. Can find Blinksec and what not in the game but not how far 1 block can go.

So when calculating the size portal i want i can just add the blocks.

Btw have seen several charts and most don’t make any sense to me.

Portal seekers have the information you want right here, but to summarize:

2 block portal conduits can go up to 2 blinksec and take 50 oort shards to open + 1 per minute,
3 block portals can go up to 4 blinksec and take 100 to open + 2 per minute,
4 block portals can go up to 7 blinksec and take 150 to open + 3 per minute,
etc.

Can also help with an in-game demo if this doesn’t help. Cheers

Edit: You can’t use a single piece of warp or portal conduit to open a portal, the minimum is a 2x1 or 1x2 configuration. Portals have to retain a rectangular shape of some kind as far as i’ve seen.

I don’t know if 1 block portal conduit works.

Thx for the explanation. I was told it was +per portal block but not told by how many.

So I figured 1 block should have a base Blinksec otherwise it would not work. But its by sum of blocks.

Warp doesn’t matter because you can (one way) travel over say 100 Blinksec with a 1x2.

Again  thx

1 block portal works as drop-in portal, and you drop out the exit side.

They drain per minute? That doesn’t sound right. Isn’t it per hour?

Sadly you can’t do a 1 block portal

Think you mean horizontally as 2x1 are vertical. When in the ground tho it can be either. But as I’ve never tried doing them horizontally when looking straight ahead I don’t know if the work that way or not.

oh yep, sorry, i meant passing though it vertically.

the wiki also has the updated list of costs by distance/size https://boundless.gamepedia.com/Portal
This worksheet has the updated distances https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12k1fy2gO54PCdZn-J_EJsSBtJL7_6C7c8f-PoCqaHz8

I thiiiink you can get horizontal portals, but it requires someone like @james to help you out.
There used to be some in the Legendville mall, but I can’t remember if the portals died naturally, or were removed because of server issues.
