I suppose it’s not a bad idea to have colour palette tied to types of exo, so that a blink, umbris, rift or all gem worlds have recognizable cgaracter to them.
However, the palettes for each exo world type seem to be a bit too narrow… maybe? becomes boring really. Then again, there are types of worlds that have wider colour choice (metal and coal for example and of course lush), and that’s where one can go looking for variety.
Lack of variety in colour palette for lucent worlds is probably most evident, but in my opinion it’s the narrow choice of biomes that makes things really repetitive. A bunch of new biomes for just t6 and t7 would be so refreshing.
I wonder if the 8 tier worlds were planned to be the unpredictable ones, with additional and crazy-looking biomes unique to them and possibly all 255 colours available in free-style mixes (instead of being organized in palettes).
That’s pretty cool I’ll probably come to see that one in person. It’s a three sided tent?
Great with the lines but also (the reason I’m commenting) is I love touches like this:
I always had a laugh when people would ask me if I ran out of timber or needed help getting things to match at Lantern Gardens. Pointing out to them that it would have literally been easier to just bang it all out in one color
The “patched up” look here really sells it being a tent. I love it.
Where I stood there were 2 gleam trees close so I farmed them. They were a bit bigger then some other trees around so more swinging before you need to regen.
