Private Planets and Hubs

If GMall disapoofs, we might as well just shut the game down. We had a good run, unplug the servers.

It’s not going anywhere lol I wouldn’t do that to people

The majority of activity & shopping will remain in the public MMO universe since it’s the most accessible by all players (at least, this seems most logical to me).

Thank heavens, lets just cancel that unplug. Nothing to see here.

I have about 7-8 others waiting for me to give them info on rental worlds. And I keep having to say “sorry guys, I’d hoped there’d be some more info from the devs this week but guess we’ll just have to wait until next week”. :sob:

I cant wait I plan on renting 15-20 planets if there’s no limit on that as I put around $300 aside a month on rental planets only with full access to the entire community lol

I relate to this so much. When I read this thread my immediate though was ‘ooo, a retreat where I can be alone, excellent’. I do like this idea although I also like the idea of being able to let people come and gather in peace too.

Wow, can’t wait to see your planets :open_mouth:

The problem for organizing hubs is there will be 8000 new planets when they release them… for like 3-6 months. Then most of those will close. How is PS going to organize them? Any plans?

If we end up with hundreds or thousands of planets in the Universe — that will be freaking awesome! That may push the game more into the direction that the devs want (I dunno what that is).

It might cause players to explore a little more to locate the personal hubs or locations with portals to these strange new planets. Unless we get a new way to travel, I bet the price of oort is going to skyrocket since it will be in high demand. Maybe a public rental planet gives you one permanent portal that you can place in the current universe?

I hope that it allows me to open it to the public, except for building and limit building to my friends/guildmates. I’m absolutely getting one unless it’s exorbitantly expensive, if it’s under $200 I think I can swing the monthly fee.

There’s no way it will cost $200/mo. More like $5-25/mo.

My guess would be prices will be similar to ark and Conan prices. I highly doubt more than $15/mo

plus need add GC

I am curious about this. Does GC effect rental planets?

If it does & someone forgets to extend GC, all their stuff goes poof on the planet they’re paying for :woman_shrugging: That would be horrible & funny at the same time :sweat_smile:
