I’m seeing a trend with ESO here haha. Maybe we should start a clan and call it “I’d rather be playing boundless” and recruit

Have over 700 hours in Conan myself. Fun game, but never inspired the addiction that Boundless does to me.

Where I live a full time job is roughly 2080 hours per year. Looks like you’ve been putting in some overtime

@bucfanpaka I don’t want to minimize NMS too much because I haven’t played much. But I tried this game to try something other than Boundless … I really tried. I quickly gave up because Boundless offers much more … at least in what I saw. I found NMS very very very boring compared to Boundless during the time I played it
I played eso too in the past but it was before I discovered Boundless by chance. Since that time bye bye NHL, MLB, FIFA, ESO and others lol

Yeah I found it by chance too. Imagine if it had an ad campaign!!
NMS is like solo boundless. The MMO aspects are trash mostly

I bought Boundless without knowing exactly what was it lol
very little information was circulating when the game was released on ps4. (now there are some videos but nothing more) Anyway I crossed my fingers when I pre-ordered it on PS4 and it turned out to be my best game purchase so far

Closest thing I’ve experienced to the level of addiction in Boundless probably was more ESO than MC or NMS - specifically, PvP in Cyrodiil was the real hook for me. I may well have topped 1000 hrs in it before last year. I’d be all like, ok, really gotta go, get to bed (goes to leave Cyrodiil)… Chat pops up: Ales FTC!! Me: Here I come! (Just one more!!) 
Got great war stories… would be a blast to go fighting with y’all… 
(I wasn’t much for the group dungeons though, outside PvP I just loved random questing, exploring, and trading)

To me this is very interesting info - I’ve been paying pretty close attention to all the NMS totals on my feed. One follower of mine did have a very high total - close to the average here probably - but outside of that, average is clearly nowhere in the ballpark. Reason this is interesting to me is that I think NMS is the base that Boundless could pull a good number of. Convinced of it actually - I’ve pulled more than a couple of them into Boundless and gotten tons of interest while hitting an audience less than a thousand. NMS has a HUGE base. I’ve been saying for months that Boundless is the better game by every measure, IMO. I love NMS, and HG has done an AMAZING job with sticking with it and making so many improvements - I don’t want to take away anything from them. But all this, throw in this thread as more evidence, just convinces me even more here that give Boundless the same attention NMS got, it would do even better. 
To me, NMS is basically a chill photo sim more than a game now, jump on to do a little screenshotting here and there… lot of similarities in the fanbases here, and I KNOW there must be many, many like me out there who could become great, hardcore Boundless fans - if they get exposed to it.

no doubt about it … I subscribe to French-speaking groups of NMS and they are full of people … I say to myself “but what are you doing there ??” … and also, some manage to make interesting constructions in NMS but generally I find the constructions very ordinary. We can build better things in Boundless
In NMS, you get lost in an infinite universe where you get bored very quickly. In any case, for me, impossible to play NMS for several hours without falling asleep unlike Boundless which takes it from my sleep lol
