I have been unable to buy this game. It looks good and I’d like to support, but neither my credit or debit cards worked and I’d really rather not mess with paypal. If there is a workaround or fix for this I’d love to know. Thanks

It is our first time hearing about the problem with the payment system. You might need to contact PayPal (we use their system to process credit cards) to find out why they are not accepting your cards. Alternatively, you can try buying the game via Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/324510/
I thought about that but I really wanted to buy the “wayfarer” package and that’s not available through steam. Has anyone been successful at using paypal’s pay as a guest option to pay with a credit/debit card? was there something you had to do to make it work? any help is appreciated.
I’ve never had any issues when paying as guest on PayPal. Where in the world are you located?

We don’t have much control over the Paypal card process. Have you tried purchasing via an Incognito window?

could it maybe have something to do with the browser? do i have to use IE or Firefox? cause I’m on chrome.

If anyone else has this problem, there was no way to get around making a paypal account. However, I was able to just make a paypal account register my debit card with them and then hit pay with paypal on the checkout screen (instead of pay as a guest) and then it’ll ask you to sign in to paypal after which you can pay directly with your debit card. no transferring money required.
