It says in the EULA and Terms and Conditions (yes, i did actually read them) that there is a chance of corruption/data loss, and that i should back up my computer/data/etc.
I was curious if anyone had a statistic on how likely it is, before I buy it. I totally want to play this game, but i don’t have a way to back up my stuff right now, so i can wait until a stable version to purchase if I have to.
But I’d really love to know how likely it is that I’ll NEED to backup my stuff.
I’d say .01 chance of corruption…
In all seriousness there will unlikely be a statistic on it because it’s unlikely that a single player has ever had it happen to them.
It’s standard part of T&C. No need to hit the panic button. It’s a solid product they have here. I’ve played quite a lot of alphas last two years and none of them caused any problems.
Still its your decision not anyone else’s so whatever other have to say about Boundless is one, what’s best for you is something else.
