Rarity of new liquids ... not always available to all

There is no pay wall. Once you buy the game, you can play all you want.

You don’t have to buy them.

I am aware, however, if your build plan is bolder than your xp gain, then it could be considered as was stated. A paywall. Although one could spend the time levelling and earning to make enough cubits to buy enough plots, one could also just pay money and boom done i can continue my build.

Edit: Aaaaand im off topic again…

I do want to fix or try to make the “build” versus “buy” type design we have here. That is why I do like the toxic type idea to rare resources. It allows me some and the economy person some because we can only “handle so much.” It feels like the best balance idea at this point or until someone else comes up with something better or the game matures.

I am the same way. I mean it as an “advice” type thing for the best interest of the person. If you cannot deal with the situation where this game is, then it isn’t right for you. I’ve already stopped playing a huge amount of things because they either don’t match my game style or because they need more maturity in my view. E.G. Meteors, economy…

I did have a recent conversation about if things were better to remove MMO from the sandbox and I said no. Personally I value having both and think we just need to continue to find the balance needed to support both play styles.

My biggest fault is I get very passionate and do not appreciate those that don’t respect different views or belittle them. So I either step in to defend my views or the other person’s view because I think we lose a lot when we allow people to not value opposing views for a conversation. Consensus is very important to me no matter what the answer we end up agreeing on is.

We need to really revisit rare/common and find a balance that works better than the current one. It really is not helping anyone here in the long run.

Yep. That’s how the game works. Earn the xp like 90% of the people who play. Or spend a little money and support the business that’s creating it.

It’s still not (and not considered) a paywall, you can earn the plots. You’re not forced to buy anything.
I have large builds, where I’m steadily gaining the plots needed.

My key words there were could be considered  It was, like most others, an opinionated statement.

Exactly me too. Have over 2000 plots and maybe have 5 unused plots.

Micro transactions that are considerably unneeded compared to other games. The only time you’d need to put addition money into this game is to buy extra plots, which you could grind to get anyway.

Sure there’s “gleamclub”. But none of it gives you an advantage over the next player?

Therefor your micro-transaction point is tottallyyyy irrelevant.

my bad for de railing a bit here im more then happy to create a thread about it if we want to keep going but im just going to leave it at that for this thread

In fact I really think there should be more micro transactions. I’d give $5-10 for some armour. I kinda wish every season they would give us some kind of outfit. They kinda started doing that with the Halloween, Christmas and gleambow events. More of that please.

Seriously this… I’d love some more stuff to have to buy, particularly outfits! I’ve never NEEDED to buy anything, I get plenty of cubits from leveling, very happy to have my GC but it certainly isn’t needed… heck, I recently rebought Deluxe on PS4 just cause I could! (Sorry EU folks, not an option for y’all but I can confirm it works in the US if you want to upgrade!)

I’ve pushed for crafted outfits because I feel that being able to craft them would be more fun. I get the buy them aspect to support the game but I feel there are other ways to do that instead of locking all things behind that option.

I get and like and support the idea of rare resources and creating economy around it. Also have no problem with a “race” for resources.

Still, when I hear about a few hundred block pools of resin, I think maybe better to have more smaller pools spawning across the world and not exceed 20-40 blocks per pool. That way initial group of players would have to spend more time traveling between the spots and maybe giving up the idea of covering all of them at once (especially if they have to think about getting other resources like blink, rift etc. at the same time).
At the moment first players discover the largest patches of liquid in their atlases and wipe most of it very quickly.

Not saying it will make everything great, but sure it would help a lot, don’t ya think?

And another issue seem to be seemingly biased or polarized rng situation in the way the exos spawn throughout time zones (as an European player, I must say only small number of exoworlds spawned in normal EU hours, so no matter how hard I try, I cannot win the race in most cases cause I’m in bed or work or whatever I do during the night).
So, pretty please, make the exo spawning algorithm less random or biased (spreading spawning times more equally between time zones, especially typical afternoon/evening playing time for working adults).

Forged outfits would be the best!!! I’ve suggested it before too. @james make it snappy. Hahahaha

Also limiting the range petrolim can spawn would help with player frustration. Mining straight down on a hotspot from 170 to mantle and not hitting the resource was a bit disheartening.

Keep it rare but tweak the distribution a bit.

Wish we had an upgrade for deluxe like pc. @SamF anytime now we’re waiting no so patiently. Lol.

I’ve played a lot of the exos with the liquids and never come across a “couple hundred pool”? They’re all roughly 10-50 in each that I’ve found!

Resin was more than that. I was getting 70 -100
