Whilst you cant choose where your planet spawns, have people had much luck re-rolling planets to get them orbiting their home-world, or would I just be burning money.
And in the meantime does anyone have a planet I can have permissions on orbiting Sochaltin I.

The best way I’ve come across is to create a similar planet. For Sochaltin, that would be a:
T1 - Placid Lush World - EU region - water/water.
When you go up a tier or two, it becomes more difficult to spawn near the planet that you’d prefer.
It would be nice to be able to request that the Sovereign be in orbit of the planet we want.
@Tiggs is that even possible? Or is that outside your purview?
It would be nice tho. Maybe just a counter and warning if you cant orbit that planet due to numbers…And i think its obvious to have to be the same teir…
I don’t know how, but I would suggest that someone create a poll. @james talks about universe balance, but did he ever ask in a poll which planets we wanted to have our sovereigns orbit?
No.
Maybe if he had, he might have realized that not everyone would want the same planet.
I’m probably one of the few who would have requested Raxxa as my planet to orbit.
I’d love to have grouped my planets together so that I could have a single hub with portals to the resource sites instead of several hubs. As it is my tier 6 planets are split between Cardass and Kol Huroo and my tier 3 planets are all orbiting different tier 3 EU worlds.
I Think MajorVex is correct about your best chance. Like T4 planets there are two T4 home worlds and creating one with similar Type and region might be your best chance.
I mean, that’s what I went for with my first couple of Sovereigns. Raxxa is my first world and it’s the home I’ll always come back to. If I could have a copy of it as a small sovereign, that would make me very happy.
