[Resolved] Error 0 on login

Hi,

I purchased the game yesterday (Jun 22, 2015), and was able to login and play for over an hour with no problems. Today, when I attempt to login, I’m getting (after pressing the “Click to connect” button, I’m greeted with “Error 0 – Couldn’t Login.” When I click the “Choose server” button, and choose a server from the list (any server), I get “Error – Unknown Error.”

I’m running this system:

Mac mini (Mid 2010)
Processor: 2.4 GHz intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 256 MB

I will send error log on request if you kindly tell me where it’s located.

I’ve opened the firewall for the app.

I also searched the forums for any reference to Error 0, but found none for that specific issue. Since I was able to play yesterday with no problem (and my configuration hasn’t changed on this end since then), I’m at a loss to further troubleshoot the issue.

We’re sorry that you have encountered this problem.

The game generates debugging logs in following location:
- Mac OS X at /tmp/tblz_log.txt

The log files will only be generated if the folder exists. If the folder does not exist then please create them and try again. These files might contain information about why the game is failing. Please send us these files.

On most versions of Windows %LOCALAPPDATA% is a hidden directory. To access the file you can type the path to the file directly into Windows Explorer.

At first glance, there are a bunch of texture loading errors toward the bottom of the log, all of the form: “No texture with name ‘textureName’ found in atlas”

Also, one error "Cannot read property ‘BOOL’ of undefined.

The error 0 line is very near the end of the log file.

Well the system on my notebook says it’s 32 bit, and it was automatic windows update, which created the windows 10 version. I did not even choose 32 or 64 bit.

While you can update from 32bit to 64bit of Windows 10 it requires a reinstall so not a quick thing to do - see

Well however :slight_smile: i think I just need to buy a new notebook in some time anyway. Don’t bother you with it. But back to the question of james… Looks like a 32 bit version of windows 10 exist. Then you should maybe think of making boundless compatible to 32 bit… If on my pc, there are probably others too, who use 32 bit windows 10. They then could not use Boundless if that’s the main problem with my error. Who knows how big the potential numbers of clients is… did you ever make research about it?
